Forget Kill Bill: Inglorious Basterds is the one. Feel good movie of the year.
And, hey, if I had a million dollars, I would bet it all that Brad Pitt is Robert Redford's biological son. Gotta be.
This is the second excellent movie this week, by the way. We rented Star Wars Trek: The Future Begins. It was EXCELLENT - great fun! I could watch it again. You know there's going to be a II with these cute youngsters. William Shatner will always be my first love, even as a geezer... Still, I'm looking forward to the next star date. iViva larga y prospera!

if you liked this new Trekkie flick, see if you can find a copy of:
"Grand Tour - Disaster in Time" (1992) aka "Timescape"
which, while out of print, is sometimes available from Amazon.com for a reasonable price on DVD.
The film is by David Twohy who afterwards directed 'The Arrival' and "Pitch Black" (aka "The Chronicles of Riddick").
"Grand Tour", while low-budget, should intrigue you with its good character development and intriguing unfolding of plot. It's a quiet little gem, IMO.
Now I'll have to go check out that new Star Trek entry you mentioned...
¡Pura Película!
