OK - I just went out to eat. It was probably overprocessed and of no nutritional vaule, but it was delicious. Especially with the wine!

I am becoming more aware but that means I have to shop more a cook more.

Trying to live more simply and nutriously is a lot of work. Maybe I don't want to live to be 100!

Over the last two years, our eating habits are completely different. We eat nothing out of a box, very little out of a can - sometimes beans, but even that is almost never anymore. The most processed foods we eat are sliced ham and ragu for pizza (on home made bread).

Once you become aware, it's like a nagging little voice in your head. Then you start reading labels. Then you start looking up what you are eating... If we are what we eat, we are in a world of shit.

You are so right Sally, but now we know, it is all a learning process. We now have a need to make up for lost time and past mistakes.
