This post is so long and tedious you will want to choke someone by the end of it. Which is exactly how I felt after experiencing it. I did not choke anyone. I ate two bowls of chocolate ice cream instead. I’ll have another after I write this. Onward.

We don’t know what frickin’ time it is in our own house because we don’t have any cloCKS THAT WORK. $&@)(%#(&$!&!~!!!

Oh, we’ve bought clocks. I bought two at Hipermas. That’s the only place I’ve seen them – even Office Depot doesn’t have any clocks for sale! Anyway, they were $16 each, the only ones they had, battery operated wall clocks, poorly put together… But, hey, I want to know what time it is so I’ll try something new and go with the flow.

Costa Rica time is GMT -6, what the U.S. calls Central Time without Daylight Savings. So summers we are two hours behind Key West and winters we are only one. Très confusing… Daylight Savings with a twist!
